DC Dual Force will be pushing ahead to fully Open Beta status starting July 14! Players will get packs and a special card back for participating in the Closed Beta. The DC Dual Force 24/7 beta is going very smoothly, and we greatly appreciate you helping us test this game as we bring it to market. In fact, it’s going so smoothly that we’re ready to move to Open Beta, starting this Friday, July 14, at 12 p.m. Pacific (US), 3 p.m. Eastern (US)! Starting that date and time, you won’t need codes to play. You can just log in, start playing, and all your progress and cards are saved from this point forward!
In order to prep for Open Beta, we will be taking the game offline, starting at 10 a.m. Pacific (US), 1 p.m. Eastern (US) on Thursday, July 13, so we can reset accounts, bring the product and payment systems online.
With the launch of the Open Beta, our in-game store will be online for players to buy boosters and cosmetic bundles hyping their favorite Super Heroes (and Super-Villains). As such, with the start of Open Beta, the daily pack login rewards that were available during the 24/7 beta will no longer be available.
However, as a special “Thank You” to all the people who played in our Beta Weekend and 24/7 Beta, you will receive 5 complimentary booster packs in your account when you log into the Open Beta for the first time, along with a special card back featuring Batman and Robin, commemorating your participation in our closed beta sessions. If you want to be sure to get that card back and those packs, be sure you log in and play before 10 a.m. Pacific on Thursday!
